The place is ok. The rooms are small but cozy, it’s very close to restaurants, right on the beach and the pool is tiny but not really needed. The breakfast is basic but enough and the two servers Alberto and Alex very friendly. The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star review is a guy in the beach club named Javi who thinks he runs the place and can do whatever he wants. He took our towels and clothes from our beach chairs when we went for a walk and gave our chairs to someone else. He never apologized but tried to explain himself, making up stupid excuses. He shouldn’t be let anywhere near costumers and he might be reason why we would choose another place when we go back.

Friendly staff. Great location, right by the sea. The beach is regularly cleaned by the staff. Unfortunately there are a lot of mosquitoes, so be sure to take mosquito spray with you! The rooms were okay, could have been a little cleaner.

Very nice place that is located near all the right places. Very friendly staff. Even though it’s not on the beach it is still worth a stay if you want to save a bit and take an snorkeling trip.

The staff is very attentive and friendly. The visit and access to the sea are well worth it. The hotel is located near the center and in an accessible place to visit any point on the island.

We've been here several times over a five year period. We've always come back to holbox dream. It's very laid-back, the rooms are very comfortable, it's got one of the better beaches, and walking distance to every imaginable restaurant. I highly recommend!

We stayed last year with my sisters for a couple of days in March. This hotel is over-rated, over crowded and over priced. Our toilet was broken when we arrived .Very disappointing. Yes, location is beach front BUT you cannot find a room to lay down and enjoy the view and if you do way too many people for such a small location. No ethics from owners. Also loud music from the bar next door is pretty bad.Rude front desk and pool staff discriminate clients upon their age and how they look.Breakfast was good and service in the restaurant aera was attentive.

We stayed at Holbox dream last year and couldn’t wait to return. The property is a short walk from the main Square and a short beach walk to the romantic Holbox sunsets.. The rooms are clean bright and comfortable.. Free breakfast is a great value and has something for everyone. From the moment you arrive you feel welcome.The management and Serenity beach club staff are warm and friendly and eager to assist in making your stay a pleasant experience.

Service in the reception was good and polite. Beach bar was straight to the beach. Beach bar staff’s service depended on the person so be ready for wait if your face is not pleasing the servant. The rooms in the hotel were quite small, looks lot bigger in the pictures. The bathroom floor flooded our whole stay. We had no idea where the water was coming from.

I really liked this hotel and found the room cozy and spacious. The beach right there is not nice and it kinda smells so I walked over to the nicest part of the beach which took 15-20 min to get there. Breaskfast included was nice although it was not the best breakfast by any means. I really liked the receptionist and he had some good recommendations as to where we should go for food.
