Check-in time is at 15:00 and check-out time is at 12:00. If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage at the front desk and relax at the Serenity Beach Club until your room is ready.
If you need to check out after 12:00, you will need to check out first with our front desk staff, as late check-out requests are subject to availability.

Our reception hours are from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm; after these hours, the reception is manned by our night guard.
For this reason, we kindly ask you to inform us in advance of your arrival or departure time.
If you arrive after 23:00 hours, check-in will take place the following morning.

How can we schedule the transfer from the airport to the hotel and finally from the hotel to the airport?

If required, we can arrange transfer services from Cancun airport, downtown Cancun or the hotel zone, Playa del Carmen and Merida to our hotel.
A minimum of 72 hours is required to arrange your transfers and a deposit of 100% of the service must be made at the time of booking.

Yes, the hotel has satellite internet, and there are some areas of the property with low coverage. There are times in high season, when all guests are online that can be slow.

The pool area is open from 09:00 to 19:30 and towel loan is at Serenity Beach Club from 10:00 to 18:00 (In case of loss, $20 USD will be charged to your account).

It is prohibited to bring food, beverages and coolers into public areas. Consumption is allowed only in the rooms.

We accept cash and credit card payments in both Mexican pesos and U.S. dollars. Most stores and restaurants in the area accept both currencies. However, we recommend that you carry small bills, as many of the places do not have change.

In recent years, the island has been affected by the arrival of sargassum, a problem that affects the beaches of the Riviera Maya. This occurs during the summer months.
Holbox dream hotel has a team of people who collect sargassum first thing in the morning and remove it from the beach. Some days we manage to have the beach clean first thing in the morning; other days, depending on the current, the sargassum continues to arrive.
When this happens, we invite guests to take the opportunity to visit the island, as there are many places to see in our paradise. Swim with the whale sharks, visit the bioluminescence, rent a bicycle and explore Holbox, take a boat ride and see the dolphins in their habitat.
Just ask at the front desk, they have a list of things to do on the island. If you want to stay at the hotel and enjoy a relaxing day, you can enjoy our swimming pools, or your private outdoor Jacuzzi in the rooms on the second floor.

We are a small hotel with very few rooms with little or no possibility of resale in case of last minute cancellations in any season.
For this reason our cancellation policies are strict and we often cannot waive fees.
That is why we recommend that our guests take out travel insurance for any inconvenience or emergency related to flight delays or cancellations, especially.
Make sure your travel insurance also covers you in case of illness, accident or theft.

We realize that travel during this period may require a Covid-19 test before returning to your country. We offer the possibility of testing to our guests staying at the hotel.

A doctor will visit you on the hotel premises and perform the test and the results are available within 24 to 48 hours.
Upon arrival you will be given an appointment and the cost.
